Everything is beginning to take shape into 3D.  It looked big on the plans, but now you can really start to feel the size of things!

Things are looking different this week vertical expansion two new rooms emerge! Garage walls have arrived!  It won't be long before ATV's arrive on the seen. TREX decking material - will soon create the long lasting surface of the ~ 1200 sq ft of deck!
Beams - the only words to describe are massive and heavy.  These cedar beams become the pillars for the grand entry.
Beams and more beams  - this picture is deceiving these beams are huge, you can really start to see why this room is referred to as the GREAT ROOM!!

Moving Right Along. A new point of view. Now a picture from the fishing pier and just imagine it won't be long before fishing from the back deck will be possible..

Thursday, August 30th  - We are almost in the dry.  Next plywood the walls, set windows, build a the deck, & put on the roof. WOW! What a view?! The front of the house, we were a little worried at first about it being over powered by the back deck but this entrance sets a pretty bold statement!!
The view just keeps getting better and better. As the deck grows...

Almost all of the windows are in place, tyvek installed, and window tape applied correctly. Columbus Custom Paint Associates suite up to acid stain the floors.  Monday was a the house got a cleaning,  Tuesday a little staining, Wednesday another good cleaning then the first coat of sealer.
