It is hard to believe that there are 66 piers below these mounds of dirt. Each placed according to house design for support and stability. That is about 33 yards of concrete and steel under the future house that you will never see, but will always be grateful they are there. |

Lets get digging! Finally after 4 inches of rain and a few hot/dry days we are ready to get back to work. Sanchez Construction waists no time in preparing the slab to pour. Harbors Plumbing and Boettcher Electric get the rough ins in place, and Kainer Pest Control pre-treats the site for termites. |

Something is going on this morning 6am. Don't wake the neighbors. The pump truck "MarkIII" really has to reach out across this slab. The pump arm can reach over 40 ft. and it is remote controlled for accurate/even placement of concrete! |

Now that the slab is complete its hard to believe that just a few days before it took 27 Koy Concrete Trucks from 6am to 11:30am and Concrete crews till 4pm to shape this huge rock. |
